I took 800 grit wet & dry to my tailpipe, followed that with 1500 grit and I have to tell you that sucker shines real well. I use SS cleanser once a week and it stays mighty nice looking.

Tho I didn't mark the clock, I bet I didn't spend more than what most of us use on cleaning the wheels and tires. The stock SS is pretty good stuff. Try it. Also by doing this you can easily get carried away and run the shine back up the pipe for a few feet. Nice to show a shine when people look up your butt! Heh, Heh
