I have a 04 F150 Screw. When you drive the doors automatically lock. Is there a way to set them so when you turn off the truck it will automatically unlock as well.
Your right the front ones open when you pull the handle, but the back doors don't. You have to pull the lock up before you get out or hit the button on the front seats. How do you use the message center to program them to not lock at all? I like that they lock, but I would like to have to have them unlock when it is put in park or when you turn the truck off.
Yes but it requires the use of your finger and the unlock button on the door...That works good for me
its does work great. if the key is still in the ignition you can push the lock button and it will unlock also.
Ford uses the child safety locks but i dont know about on the pickups. i dont know why they would.nt all you have to do is look and see.
There is a way to make this happen. I cannot recall the page, but it is in the owner's manual. You have to go through a series of steps in a certain amount of time and the correct sequence for it to make the change. Take a look at your owner's manual...good luck.
Actually, I don't believe there's a way to make this happen. Search these forums using keywords like LOCKS BACK SEAT, etc. and you'll see that this has been discussed on several occasions.
