I have true duals on a 1990 f250 w/ 460. I am moving to a bigger city and need to tone down the exhasut, (currently running 12" glass packs turned backwards). This time around, I want to find out a way to get the most power out of my motor with the exhaust. Any suggestions?
If you wish, personally i prefer MagnaFlow and have cat back systems installed
on both my Wifes expedition and my 89' f250 with a 460 and love the sound they
make, for me flowmasters are like a box of choco*** you get the idea.
Any of the good aftermarket mufflers (Magnaflow, Borla, Dynomax, etc) will have very little difference in power between them. Its all about sound at that point. IMO Flowmaster is very overrated.
run a single 3" exhaust with a dynomax or magnaflow strait through muffler, the single exhaust will tone it down ALOT and it will sound smoother and less raspy
