Overdrive Problems

We have a 2001 Expedition 5.4 V8 and the fuse for the overdrive keeps blowing , what could be the problem?

Welcome Susee. Does it blow right away (the first time it tried to engage OD) or after a while? (Or perhaps as sson as you start the vehicle)?

I believe as soon as we put the new fuse in . We tried changing the fuses this past weekend and it seemed it blew right after we changed it and started the truck.
