Is there a way to identify a tachometer wire with a digital volt meter? I have a slew of wires I need to look in to find the tach wire and I need to know how to make sure this is the wire I need.
Put your DVM on the Rx100 scale.
Put one lead on the TACH side of you Ignition Coil (Tan wire with Yellow stripe) and the other lead on the wire under the dash (Tan wire with Yellow stripe).
If it reads near 0 ohms you got the right wire.
