My wipers don't work, any ideal's on what to do. I checked fuse's, & relays. switch was in parameters for fast, slow & off but didn't change on the delay. I ran a hot wire to motor & it runs. ( ANY HELP APPRECIATED)
The switch part is made real cheap. Pull the end off of the stick, pop off cover and remove the screw, and inspect the switch. You can try the jumper there. Be careful and don't bend any of the contacts until you decide which one is off if it is the problem.
depending on the year of the Superduty...I believe the wiper-motor switch is under a recall for freezing up and starting fires? If so...the dealership should foot the bill for the repairs...
I went to the ford fleet site and tried to look at the recalls and i had to have some kind of fomoco dealer id...so i put in my vin number somewhere else and it still didn't work...as in said nothing for my 99
Medic66,there is a tsb or recal for the cruise control switches that cause fires but not the wiper multifunction sw.but the wires may be in the same area.
Did you get a recall notice on this?
