I got one in my gallery, made it with a 12 ton hand bender(cheap) and a saw-zall. I used bout 1/8" pipe for the cab part, and some thin wall for the supports running back. Cant bend that thin wall stuff with a cheap bender very far. If you roll, either way your trucks screwed, trust me but it gives me something to do and to mount some lights and stuff to. I thought it turned out good, parents and friends asked me where i bought it so i was happy.

I sure does look good, I'd think you bought it somewhere too.
No light bar will protect your cab in a rollover. This is what 98% of what folks are running around with. Allthough there is no replacement for a cage, a good ROLL bar properly executed will save your life in a severe mishap. Whats properly executed you ask? Firstly, the main hoop will be ideally bent just as a cage is. You can weld it like chrono did but you will need to gusset the hell out of it and it still won't be near as strong as a one piece hoop. Second, the lateral supports (the ones running back from the main hoop) should be made out of the same diameter and wall as the main hoop. Otherwise the whole thing can fold. Finally, to be of any use, the whole thing must be tied into your frame at all four points. This is how I did mine and its strong as hell. I believe you can see pics of it in my gallery. Anyways, since this IS a potentially life saving device I thought I'd throw my two cents in.
yeah, i know the back tube should be the same size, but im planning on making another with my spare tire carrier grafted in, and my rear mounted radiator on top. then ill make sure that is a big sucker, and im gonna get this one bent into shape.
