LED light bars anyone?

Looking at LED light bars to put on grill guard of '78. Friend of mine just put ZERO DARK bars on his hunting rig. I haven't seen them light up the night but he is impressed. They are a bit on the high side on price compared to cheap ones on Ebay. Curious if anyone has done a LED light bar comparison on performance?

I want one. But I don't have to room on top of my roll bar. Too close to the header of my garage.

I may cut the header to fit one though. I want the full cab width one. That should light up the woods.

I saw a small led light bar on a raptor awhile back, maybe 18" or so wide. I was around 50 to 100 yards ahead of him when he kicked it on. It was like the sun came out. I was impressed.

I haven't seen one yet. I did find a couple of company's that make a nice slim one. 1.5" tall I'll be getting one soon.

They're bright as ****. My buddy has a 52" and an 18 on his jeep. Here are a couple comparison pics

High beams

52" only

As far as putting one on a dent, I've never seen one. For a full width, I'd mount it above the windshield

I found a side by side comparison on Pirate 4x4 once... I'll see if I can find it again.

I wonder about putting 1 behind the "ford" letters on the 73-77 grills.
I also have seen 1 mounted above the windshield, tucked under the visor of an older gmc/chevy full size.

My buddy bought a cheap eBay LED light bar for a little less than $200, about 3 or 4 feet wide on his Polaris RZR. It's very impressive. Need one for my RZR now...

I'm thinking behind the Ford in the 73-77 grills would be really cool. You would need 2, one on each side.
