airbag disconnect
Just for the sake of curiosity, what would I need to do if I wanted to disconnect my airbags permanently? (besides smashing the front bumper into a tree until they pop)
but then the thought comes to me that simply cutting a wire would still leave a sitting time bomb in front of my face...

the air bags are controlled from inside the truck. there is a sensor attached to the belt buckles which mounts to the floor. You can turn off the passanger side with a switch but the drivers side cannot be turned off.

for the purposes of a rock crawler I would need them removed professionally? or maybe just pop them myself since removing them is abit risky? what does it take to blow and airbag?
