Well, I bought a used 2003 Escape for my daughter and without thoroughly researching the airbag light, now have a problem. The light flashes twice, pause, then once, so I think this is error code 21?
I cannot find anything on what this code is and how to fix it. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated since my daughter turns 16 on May 3!
I disconnected battery for an hour and now I get 4 flashes, pause, 6 flashes, 46 error. Need help with this now? Tom

Reason: New error code
LFC 21 on an 03 Escape means there is a poor ground connection between the airbag module bracket and the vehicle's ground (chassis).
Inspect the mounting hardware for loose bolts and for corrosion between the bracket, the module, and the vehicle ground.
The module is located under the center tunnel just to the right of the gas pedal. There are access panels on both sides of the tunnel that need to be removed to access the bolts and the module.
Be sure to disconnect the battery negative lead and wait one minute before doing anything related to the airbag system.
