LOL, you are so right! I had to send the first pair back because they were too small.

Well, my exchanged boots arrived and didn't like how they fit either. Decided to return them and buy a pair of Justin Ropers. I haven't had a pair of ropers in a long time, so pretty excited about them. Boot Bay has so e good prices on their boots.

I still can't find anything good to replace my Tony Lamas. I want something with a blue stitch on the side, slip resistant soles, tan, and comfortable. Is that so hard to find?

I'm still trying to decide on whether I want short or long upper quarters. All of my other boots have been short upper quarters, so I might try something different.

I saw one pair of Tony Lamas while shopping that had blue stitching, but they were black boots.

I will say this, while shopping i saw some ugly looking boots out there. Just my opinion, of course. Maybe I'm just too old fashioned

Yesterday got 2 more used pair of boots my dad got them for my brother but he doesn't fit so I took them. They are Redman boots one work boot style one engineer style haven't wore the engineer ones yet but the work boot ones are very nice a lot heavier then my Cowboy boots though.

I wear boots every day. A pair of Justin work boots is what I have now. They're square toe and steel toe. Bought them at Gebo's. Brown foot covering (can't remember the name), black rubber sole, and offwhite shin protectors. Best pair one owned. I need square toes for my wide 11D feet. For some reason the ones I haveare 10D but I outgrew my last pair of 10 1/2D. Probably from all the weight I've lost inbetween. These are the best pair I've had and I'm buying another set when these wear out.
