Hey guys I am pumped.I talked with Beans today and it looks like the stage ones are gonna happen. My truck only has 114,000 on it.What supporting mods do I absoluteley need to have before I install stage ones?Tranny was just rebuilt and beefed up.Exhaust is four inch, what else?
Hey Plowhand,I've already got the kwik intake.I'm gonna wait on the chip.Right now I'm just lookin for things to take care of so I don't grenade my motor.
Plowhand,I don't need to do anything with the hpop? What about the fuel pump?
otpracer100, your HPOP and fuel pump (if in good shape) will handle stage ones. So.......unless you have deep pockets.....your set. Now if you really start adding the HorsePower (Stage twos and up) you will need to upgrade both to get the maximum perforamnce out of your injectors. If in doubt call Bean, tell him what mods you have and ask him what you need. Once you know that, then ask him what would he recommend you get/do for maximum performance.
Sorry to hijack this thread, been following these injector threads for a bit now, mulling over in my head about replacing my injectors since I need to replace a couple glow plugs so why not do everything at once. I am leaning towards the Tranny Savers since I am running a stock auto trans and am not looking for huge power gains. Has anyone experianced any adverse effects from using these injectors on a unbeefed up auto? I like the price of these and with a little extra git up and go its a good deal.
