Just looked and their price dropped to 399! who here is running their tunes. What do you think about them? I read a thread awhile ago that someone went up to their place and tested a bunch of tuners on the dyno. But I think he's running dp or tw tunes even though he got better #'s with beans, just wondering why? I plan on stage 1's and bts valvebody this summer. I have intake and exhaust right now.

I dont know any about Beans chip, this is a bump for you.
Scangauge will be bought at the same time. I drive like a grandpa cause I don't want to break anything and tow 2 times a year which isn't heavy so not too worried about egts and tranny temp.
I have beans tunes. Jonathan is great to work with and after a couple of reburns he about has me tuned in where I want. I also have a TW chip and it is real good also but needs the shift points raised up a bit.
Glenn, I noticed a while back that you use the cure which appears to be unavailable. Have either of the chips that you use gotten to where they can separate the converter lockup from the shift. I hate when the converter locks at the same time as the shift and the rpm's drop low.

That was Neal, and he did it to prove a point. If you found the thread that talks about his dyno runs, keep reading back and you'll get the full story.

Yes, I had a lot of problems with that. Tony's chip at first was locking the TC BEFORE it shifted into 3rd making 3rd shift really hard. He then raised up the TC lock so it was after the 3rd gear shift. This helped alot with the dropping of the rpm's after it locked because it was at a higher rpm. I still would like more of a separation between it shifting into 3rd and when the TC locks but its so hard to get without live tuning. I would love to get on Beans dyno or anybodies to get it dialed in perfect, if there is such a thing!
