i have got so many computers laying around but this is my baby
INTEL KILLER SPECS:
amd 64 3000+ newcastle core overclocked from a 2.0 to a 3.0 ghz
msi k8tneo motherboard
1 gig pc3200 mem
2 200 gig seta rapter hard drives running raid 0
ati radeon 9800 pro 256 overclocked
2 dvd burners
huge server case
water cooler for processor, vid, chipset, and hard drives
550 watt pwer supply
NOT A SINGLE FAN IN THE WHOLE PC!!, SILENT! (u can hear water trickle tho)
my question to chrono is, do u run ur water cooler off of your power supply? i run mine off a sep power plug that i built up. my whole cooler is custom made and actually uses a tranny cooler off of a honda so i could hold alot of water. then i set it up so i could turn the water cooler on when the computer turns on, but the pump actually has its own plug in which i mounted in 2 pci slots so you cant tell that it is a wack job on the inside
then i a have my laptop:
hp pavilion zv5000
amd 3000+ newcastle core (exact same processor as in the intel killer)
512 ram single stick (was going to upgrade, but i dont need to this things fast!)
40 gig hard drive
128mb ati vid
wireless
15.4 monitor
this thing is super super fast, but sucks up electricity. i really think my laptop would BURN most of the intels it meets
Matt

for my pump, it just runs out the back to a plug for now. i have a expansion bay relay on order, waiting for it to be in stock. on yours, youve got your tranny cooler, all ive got is my 80 mm radiator, but ive got a big aluminum resivoure, it holds 3/4 of a gallon, so that takes car of that

I don't JUST do gaming, I also do some video and photo work, but generally I do a crapload of stuff all at the same time. Lots and lots of multi-tasking (hence having three monitors), and you just can't beat the buttery smoothness of multi-tasking on a duallie with lots of RAM.
Also, I got the parts used for dirt cheap. I got the procs, mobo, RAM, coolers, and PWS for $450 (retail at the time was over $1400). That mobo alone goes for $400 new.
