Thanks again. I can always use as much info as available. There is one on ebay right now that sells complete for 180 and I was thinking about it. Ed

My Flamethrower II coil melted my ignition module in less time than it took to realize what that funny plastic smell was..
Then it melted the stock points that I put in place of the Petronics II Module. Wouldn't you just know that is the only reciept I can't find from all the ones I saved. (Some day I'm gonna add up what I spent) Anyway .... a quick trip to the parts house for a stock coil, points and condenser fixed the problem and the 292 runs great. Quess you can add my name to the list of those who got one of the bad ones.

I got the alternator bracket from Hotrod and Custom Supply in FL. They also make one for alternator and A/C compressor to fit the Y block.

thanks for all the great info this will really help the old 292 under the hood of the 59 this site is great
