anyone ever heard of shooting a bit of methanol into the air intake right before the fuel injectors to add a bit of power? i think they have kits for this. you just have a small tank you fill with methanol and route it to a little injector in the intake hose.
if anyone has any knowledge on this, my question is is this a reasonable way to get a little extra boost? and is this safe for any engine, from bone stock to completely built. i am just curious about this, not necessarily planning on throwing this into my truck.
thanks
chris
