It's really hard to tell if there's any damage with all that dirt on it. Maybe you could wash it and take some more pics. Be able to tell you more then.
As for your son, if I see a 190 ton truck coming at me going 3 mph, I think I am going to run the other way. Most trucks do not have that option, or at least not this one
those haul trucks will do 45 mph. and some of the blind spots can be up to 125 feet.
The Company I work for, has a small mining operation. We have Haul Trucks that are only 25 and 35 Ton. The Tires on these are only 6'6" tall. The Tires on the 190 Ton I believe are 12' tall.
What is un-believable is the tires we use cost over $4,000 each with our company discount.
Because we have a mine, they send these pictures to us all the time. When I seen this one, I could not help but post is as it was a sad end to a good Ford.
yup. the quarries i deal with use recaps untill they fall off the machines. you can recap 5 times for the cost of 1 new tire. they hate it when a tire "chunks" because you can not section anything bigger than like 6 inches square. then they have to buy new sneakers, and the machine they go on gets the kid glove treatment. no workface, no pit, only nice small stone out of the piles after the crusher.
