Down-pipe time!

Ok guys. its time that i replace my downpipe. i would like a 3" or a 3 to 4" pipe. and i was wondering where i can get the pipe from for cheap??
also, i am getting a 4" SS exhaust system and was wondering where i should put my pyrometer gauge if i got 1? and do i need a Pyro gauge with those few mods?

i hear tymar has a very good 3 to 4 inch dp. and if you get a pyro the best place is the exhaust manifold. also you don't need a pyro till you decide to get a chip/tuner. the exhaust mods will make you egts go down. but still would be a good investment to build a base to later get a chip.

I have a 3" Flowmaster downpipe that I'll sell for $75.00 (with shipping) I had it on my truck for about a week. But got a new one with my 5" exhaust. Let me know if you need it. If you don't go with the one above I say give Dale a call at Tymar very helpful but be ready to talk. I am very pleased with mine that came from him.

Also on Pyro put it in the exhaust manifold. It sounds like you have already got the mod bug and would be a waste of time to put in downpipe and get higher mods and just have to move it again. I think every truck stock or modified should have one.

I'm using a Tymar 3-4" and am pleased with it. It was easy to install and everything fits well. Dale is an easy guy to work with. I took the plunge and drilled/tapped my exhaust manifold for the pyro sensor. I was a little puckered up at the thought of drilling into the manifold, but it turned out to be simple and no problem.

There not to bad to get in every trucks a little different though. Just have to bend the pinch weld on firewall did mine while I was upgradeing clutch with tranny out think it made it much easier but can just use 2x4 to bend it. Email dale and he will send you a list of prices mine was around 129.00 for just downpipe 3 to 4. You will be happy with this upgrade
