Replace downpipes?
Ive heard that the 2.5" downpipes on our 7.3s (idk if 6.9s are the same) restrict flow and arent big enough. Im eventually going to turbo mine and have 5 inch stacks waiting to go on as soon as i get the y-pipe kit. My questions are where would i get better downpipes from, what size, and is it worth it? Anyone whos replaced em already, did you see any improvements? Thanks guys.

well, if you upgrade to a turbo then why bother screwing with it? and the oem exhaust pipe is fine from the motor to the Y. its from that point on you would want to upsize. now, when you do get turbo it will have new up-pipes and you may wanna go larger on the downpipe depending on what kit you go with.

Im 90% sure ill be going with the banks sidewinder. Looking at your profile, your the guy who can answer my questions lol, because i have a 90 350 crew cab as well and my list of to-do's matches what youve done on yours to a T
