1976 Highboy tcase & rear end

The numbers on my divorced T case are C11313, I am looking for feed back on this Tcase good bad etc. Is it geared or chain. Just some info please. Also I don't have a tag on the rear end, what was the stock gearing for the rear and front diffs.
Thanks
Monmar

most likely 4.10 gears

most likely an np205, which is gear driven, very reliable and bulletproof

It was a 4 speed and now an auto, not sure which one but probably C6.If the numbers C11313 don't indicate, what other ID marks will indicate.

Tks

As they stated it is probably an NP205. It has a good reputation as being tough and reliable. Cast iron case. It is all gears, no chain. It was also used in other vehicles, and some were mated directly to transmissions, not divorced. I've heard that it can be converted to "twin-stick," the 4-wheel guys like to do that, it gives you the option of engaging either front or rear axle independently or together. You might want to double-check though , it may be a Spicer 24. (I have been looking for a Spicer 24 for my 1964, and a couple of sources show it was used into the 1970's on Ford trucks...) Correct me if I'm wrong here guys..

(I have pics of a Spicer 24 on my Gallery..)

Yes Thomas67 it is divorced from the C6. Its tough to do by your self, but my shifter feels very spongy. When I go to engage the Tcase, I can literally move the floor shifter forward and back, I need to roll the truck forward or back to engage the Tcase. My problem is I can't see if what is happening at the Tcase when I am in the cab...hahaha.. It used to be a solid engage but recently, very spongy...any thoughts?? When I do get it locken in, it is solid and works great.

Thanks guys

I've hadn't felt mine like that but here is a link you can contact them they will probly be able to answer your question better than me. Maybe some came before 73 but everyone i have seen were 205's.
