Hello Everyone,
I have an 01 7.3 Diesel Excursion, When I first got the truck I bought an Edge Revolution chip tuner. The tuner gave the truck a lot of kick but had a bit of premature transmission shifting going on in the low to med RPM range. I was informed that the Super Chips tuner would take care of that issue. They were right, the tuner take care of the issue but didn't give me as much of a kick as the evolution tuner. Would like to hear from others about there experience with the 2 tuners, which one would you desire. I am more of a performance type of guy. Thanks for your input in advance.

Reason: clarity
I experienced the same thing as you. I think it is because the superchip does not produce as much power as the Edge, so the tranny is happier with the superchip. I now have a Dp-Tuner chip and that is definitely better than both tuners. It has great power and great transmission shifting. If I were you I would give it a try. If not stick with the SCMT at least your tranny will last longer.
I am using the Superchips tuner as well and I really like how well it handles the transmission. I am sure that other tuners may put out more power than the Superchips tuner, but that is one reason why I choose it. I figured it might be a little easier on the truck.
