Cold start with a tuner

I read posts that mentioned that it wasn't good to cold start with a chip set to anything but stock, i'm wondering about cold starts with a tuner? It's not like it would be very convenient to reprogram the truck every morning. Also is the reason to not cold start with a chip because of the egt's going way up for a short period of time.
I have the Egde evolution tuner in my truck.

Don't sweat it. DP flashes a lot of people's computers so they only have one program anyway. Just don't get on it until it's warmed up... ~10-15 mins watching my autometer temp gauge.
