It would be money well spent to get that windshield fixed asap. Or if you didn't have the money, get some of that special runny silicone windshield sealer they sell at the autoparts store and try to stop it. If you don't, it will ruin a expensive GEM module and the whole fuse box assembly.

I replaced all my turn signal bulbs, turn signal relay, turn signal multi-switch, and it still made the buzzing noise and blinkers didnt work. The blue relay is the hazard flasher relay. I removed the hazard flasher and noticed 1 of the prongs was burned slightly...cleaned it up a little and re-installed...noise is gone....and turn signals work. Replaced hazard flasher to make sure. No more noise.

Good Luck

The multifunction switch is the turnsignal switch in the steering column.

I just purchashed a 2003 F250 SD an i'm chasing the problem discribed. Buzzing relay, figured it's bad and installed new aftermarket replacement, buzzing gone but now it clicks consantly. Step on the brake pedel and it stops, all directional signals work fine. Am i still looking at the multi switch?

I have a 2011 F250 King Ranch 6.7. Had a low buzz like noise coming somewhere close to the radio block. Sound would come on even when the truck was off. Second problem and related was the batteries would die after two days. Took the entire steering column and center dash apart. Took the radio block out and the noise stopped. The problem was the CD player. It was stuck on load and would come on every 5 minutes or so even while the truck was stopped (running the batteries down). Took the radio block apart and took the CD player part out. Slapped back on and put everything back together. Both problems solved.

Funny you mention that, I had the same problem with a 99 Tahoe. I noticed the cd player went wacky once in awhile, but ignored it. Then I started having a battery drain problem. Using my meter I traced the drain to the radio fuse. Put the fuse in, I had a 1 amp drain. Take it out, I had a .016 amp drain. As I was experimenting with this I heard a little grunt in the dash area each time I installed the fuse. I traced it to the cd player. It was trying to do something, and it was causing the drain. Unplugged the cd player, drain gone. Radio works ok.
