After changing my oil today I started my truck up and went underneath to check for any leaks. I heard a slight buzzing noise coming from underneath the transmission. I can't pinpoint it, but it's definately the trans. I've never heard this before or just never paid attention? Anyway, any idea of what the buzzing may be?
I have this same noise under my truck. It does not matter if the truck is running, running in gear or shut off. I cant figure out where it is coming from. It almost sounds like it is a air leak. The noise will only sound off for a couple of seconds and it will sometimes do it once and just this morning it made the sound four times.
I have a 2001 X with the 7.3 DL. Muffler deleted, AFE cold intake and Edge Evolution Tuner....
