i was wondering....is there a special muffler i should put on the truck to net any gains...dont want to do a full exhaust, one reason being im not sure they make one for this certain build, the other being that some of those kits can get pretty expensive, and this is a work truck, it gets used 10-16 hours a day...
i was hoping to find a muffler that i can put on and improve things a bit without having to spend $5-$800 on a new turbo-back.

IMO the best bang for your buck is the Aeroturbine muffler/resonator. Around
$200 depending on model and size. www.blackclouddiesel.com carries them(site

I think the Aeroturbine is supposed to get rid of some of the drone in the cab that you get with the BTM. To me, it's worth the extra $$ to get rid of that drone.

I remember Otterdiver saying he had no drone with his Aeroturbine at all.
Mine droned pretty good. It was a good muffler as long as I didn't drive 2000 - 2100 RPM. Above and below that speed it was great.

I ahve the MBRP 4" turbo back exhaust. I was thinking of adding the MBRP resonator to quiet things down a bit. If I do where do I add it in the system? Or I could get the aeroturbine with resonator. Where would I put that? Right after the down pipe and leave the MBRP muffler or replace the MBrp muffler. What is the best way?

Add the Aeroturbine as close to the downpipe as possible and leave the muffler
in place.
