i'm gonna say swallow the pride and you have a good excuse to do some work on your truck, the parts won't be that expensive, junkyard, LMC, or otherwise. odds are if you take her to court you won't get anything, if she doens't speak english and doesn't have any of the papers you're probably SOL. woulda been a good time to have old smokey around to throw a little heat on, at least then you could have found her again, that sucks so bad though

Some chick bounced off my 1995 F-150 rear bumper a few years ago with a Neon. Did $3200 in damage to her car and I unbent my bumper with a pipewrench. She had to get towed. There was steam coming off her hood and everything.

ya definately there is an advantage and a security driving a truck, one of the many reasons i will always drive one. the biggest vehicle wins!! the others either limp back home with their tail between their legs or get shamefully towed away ha ha ha

Try to take her to court and she'll be back in old Mexico muy pronto.
A few years back my buddy was going to the street rod nats had and illegal hit him on the 635 totaled his 38 chevy. He got to pay hospital bills for him and his wife, plus towing for his ride. The mex got treated for free and free ride back to Tacoville.
And I'd bet he was back in dallas before my friend healed up.

I hit a non moving object with similar damage(5years ago).. actualy it pushed the fender into the door lol... $70 worth of junkyard parts latter, and a spray bomb paint job... all is good. I straitend out everything that was bent(and the bumper), and replaced the plastic parts, and the fender.

surely everyone has hit one of those non-moving-objects at some point or another, parked car, the tree on the icy road when you were saving a few pennies by driving on bald tires you pulled off the junk heap at the local junkyard...

At least the wreck wasn't your fault. I still cringe everytime I think about wrecking my 86 F-150. Perfect body, 300I6, good brown paint, the works. Great truck. Fell asleep, hit a $700 mailbox and rolled it three times. The roof crushed into the bench seat. I walked out fine, but the truck was so bad that the fire dept. used it for jaws of life practice. I loved that truck.
Yeah, if they can find the driver, they'll just deport them. You can try the courts but I don't know if you'll have much luck. I hate uninsured drivers.
