Undercoating Pics

Some of you took an interest to my undercoating, so i decided to take some pics of it. note that i did this last weekend, so it has some road grit and silt on top of the springs and on the 3rd member of the axle, so that shouldnt have been there. i sprayed it off an hour ago with some water, and you will still see some spot of water left on it, i wasnt going to break out the pressure washer for this.

note: i didnt paint the calipers for fear of the heat they produce. didnt want to contain any heat in them

still wet, third member:

i plan on removing, cleaning and painting the tank skidplate and painting the X-case skid soon too.

Looks good strokin, I've been doing this for years and it as really helped on preventing rust. Twice a year a buy a new can and touch up were needed.

I did both axles on mine as well, I think just doing that made a huge difference in looks as well.

I was thinking of doing this, as my frame is somewhat rusty-could you please tell me the best way to do it, or is there a post that I missed on this procedure?

Thanks in advance

just a question I see that you covered your driveshaft will this not make your shaft unbalanced now causing premature u-joint wear?

It won't make it unbalanced. It's a light coat of paint, not a thick rubberized coating, so it will be just fine on the drive shaft.
