Fun In the SNOW

well, i finnally got my tires on, and i decided to go play in the snow. new tires- Nitto Terra Grapplers, 305/70/r16. fit perfectly, doesn't come close to rubbing. i wanted a near-stock height tire that was wider.

made one a pic and all the rest links-

reverse acetoned badges, yes the paint is crappy.

got yelled at for this one, obviously dad could see from the house.

well at the same time, my neighbor yelled for me so i went down and talked to him. he wanted to take pics of me, how cool. first he wanted me to take it out on the road and see what it could do. had the evo on middle setting, and the juice on 5 (extreme) and after about 5 seconds WOT i heard a POOOOSSSH. yup, i knew i popped a boot. limped back in his driveway, and took 10-15 minutes to fix, plus he tried to shoot a deer. so the next pics (the action set) will be kind of dark. he agreed to come take some more in the light when it snows 2'' more or so tomorrow.

enjoy.

Looks real nice strokin'. Do you think those are the tallest tires you could put on w/ just a front leveling kit?

no, they are 33'' and i bet i could get 35'' to fit. i have plans of getting a 2'' front shackle drop, trac bar lowering bracket and rear add-aleaves, the front sits 1-1.5'' low.

With out a leveling kit on my 250 I fit 33's no problem and wish I would have went bigger.

simple. just acetone the whole badge to get the paint off. (and off your fender if you aren't careful. then polish them (which i haven't done, as you can see) and then paint over the tops of the letters. i made them look somewhat like the 6.0 badge, with the red and black.

we got out three hours early, but i didnt get to play on the roads because i went straight to work. plus we are on the rain/snow line all night it looks, and it will be crappy tomorrow.
