Wow, Hypoid your pretty observant. yes those are zips. Picked this trick up from my stock car builder buddy. use any color you want. they are the heavy duty ones, these have been on for almost 3 yrs and havent broke.
Think Ford, you have the right website. It is the company I ordered from. I had their catalog with a lot of choices. You can custom fit your application.
I just came from Pick-N-Pull, saw a 72 that has a banged up grill but the two window grills are almost perfect, no broken plastic or scuff marks. Also found a 67 aluminum grill that's perfect, as well front fender bullet trim down the middle which has red inset vs black on mine. Rain ran me off, tomorrow i'll snag the 67 grill and fender "bullet" trim. A damn shame as I haven't looked for months and now there is a 67, 70 and 72 to get picked apart and all three look better than those restorations in progress running around.

Once there in the yard you can't take them away as complete besides I have no place to store them. The 72 had almost new looking disc brakes. I always look for spare parts for my 68, had a 69 for 32 years. After 69 when they went to wider bullet trim, plastic grills, blinkers seperated from headlight covers I lost all intrest as thats the ugly years JMO. Off the 67 I got the cab mounted rear view mirror with mount, may snag another instrument panel. Those Pick N pulls are getting greedy on parts, about double in less than a year. Saw two rear axle sway bars complete and one between the radius bars sway bar but then again I have spares of both.

Charles, the grill is perfect but both headlight covers are damaged, i'll go there tomorrow morning but its going to rain. I'll add it and both front fender bullet trims and instrument panel to my collection as I have a white metal grill, headlight covers, hood, fenders, valance and paint bumper NIB since 1981 for the 69 that I never installed.

Beemer, Thats sure going to look good. Man you had all that stuff stored since 1981? I have only been working on this 67 since March of 05 and i,ve lost new stuff I,ve order for up to week before I could find it when it was time to put it on. I purchased a in the box NOS 67 aluminum grill off of ebay and I know what a perfect one costs believe me. I bought new Dennis Carpenter head light covers and all of it is stored in my storage building because when we decided to paint the truck like the CACWBY the grill and headlight covers we had were real good, just not perfect and I couldnt bring my self to paint the shiny new stuff lol.
These are spare parts should I ever (please don't let it happen) I get wrecked as my truck is super clean original. I'm up to 94K original miles got her at 69K back in 97 from the original owner. It came with a big camper on her back.
I got a spare C-6, Ford PS, MC, 3 boosters, I beams with Disc brakes, rear end and drive shaft.

I re-read your post. You have a new HOOD? Wow I looked and looked and finally found a good one with no rust that didnt require much work and put it on and had it ready for paint and it blew up on me at 60 mph on LBJ hwy in traffic ( talk about scary)so I had to find another and that took 60 more days to find and get back to being ready for paint again. I hope you never have a wreck as well but at least you have the parts to fix it back.
You gonna let us know where these trucks are located?
I know Truck Stop in Gilroy has a couple 68 to 72 Fords but not much left on them.
I am in need of a pair of rotors and good door locks for my 70 Camper special.
Plus could probably think of a few more Items I could use
Sorry for the late reply woods, the trucks were at Pick-N-Pull in Oakland, 8420 San Leandro Street. There's another one in Milpitas that's alot larger as well another different company on west Winton in Hayward. I get to them once every two months but then i'm not looking for parts. The one in Hayward I pulled a short block (someone got the heads and intake) and the block was 390 but had a 428 crank (410).

I get frustrated at most of the pick a part places because they thing they have a stack of gold and they want top dollar for them.
The one on Trade Zone is pretty good but they turn over vehicles too often.
I had found a Jeepster in there that I was going to pull springs from.
Went back that weekend and it was gone. It was there for around 2 weeks and they crushed it.
Do you make it down to the one on Trade Zone often?
Let me know if you see anything there.
Or maybe we could meet up and talk shop
I drive by there every day but hardly ever get the time to stop.
P.S. That was a pretty good find with the shortblock
