Changing mirrors out Question

I have an 05 F-350 with the small round mirrors that are power adjusted.

I would like to change them out to the TT mirrors w/power adjusted mirrors, Heat, and turn signal.

The part number I have from dealer is 2C3Z-17696-BAA for power/mirror, heat, w/no signal.
Does anyone have the part number with signal?
The question I have is the wiring in the door for the heat and turn signal?

Thanks
Rick

I've been thining of doing the same with mine, but I was told the plugs are different.. I can't verify that though, I haven't done it yet.

As for the wiring for the turn signals/heater, good question..

You can get the Ford part numbers from the OEms web site. try this site ttt-mirror.com/cantfindsd.html

I know that the TT mirrows should fit ok for the 05, just the question on the heater and turn signals. There's a tech at the dealer that did the change over for the heat and signal. I going to ask him, he wasn't in the other day.

I have done searchs on the site, but haven't gotten any answers to these questions

There are a bunch of threads about swapping the mirrors. Here's one:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...ght=TT+mirrors

Also here's a link to a guy who upgraded to power, heat and turn signal with photos.
http://www.eurekaboy.com/f250/newmirrors2.htm

Since you only have power, you'll most likely need to run wires - in the above link that is what he did.

Also, the part # you got from the dealer is for power only. Part # for power/heated is 2C7Z-17696-AAA. Sorry but don't have part # that includes turn signal. Maybe someone else in the forum does.

Yes I have searched the forum, the ones that you were refering to are older trucks, I was hoping someone with an 05 has done this because they would know what wiring was in the door.

So anyone with an 2005 F-250 - F-350 who has swapped out the mirrors to power mirror, heat, turn signal... Please help

FWIW, in looking at the wiring information for installing remote start/security systems, the wire functions, colors, and locations are the same for '03, '04, and '05's.
