No, my original point, most newer HU's DO NOT "CLIP". "CLIPPING" happens
when the output stage is overdriven, and in the newer HU's, the preamp is
designed so this willl not happen. The key words here are "MOST", and "NEWER"...There are, however, other types of distortion, other than "CLIPPING", that HU's do have.
