Well, that's what I think too. But, according to the first post, the opposite was experienced by one of our members.

I noticed a difference, but that's just me. My truck is quieter and doesn't romp when it's cold.

No same temps roughly, I posted a thread about it awhile back and got mixed reaction's most being " NU UHH " " thats impossible " sort of thing. Thats why I felt the whole synthetic thing is just over rated. Iv'e had vehicles in the past that didn't like synthetic for whatever reason but judging from all the hopped up reviews I got about putting it in my psd I thought it would be a good investment, but just didn't get those same results so.... I dunno.

RushN350 I never had the romps with whatever oil I used. The only difference that I noticed with my truck is quieter operation when cold and during warmup. Once it's fully warmed up, no difference in performance or sound level.
