Is anyone running the Mobil 1 Oil Filter? I have run the Purolator Pure 1, and the Motorcraft FL-1995 in the past....

I am going to change my oil today and am switching from Rotella Synthetic to Mobil 1 synthetic for this OCI.....

The Mobil 1 filter is the same size as all the rest but I don't like the look of the gasket....it seems thin and is beveled where all the others I have used and looked at have a conventional flat gasket......

Also I sprung for the Mobil 1 filter for my Wife's PT Cruiser......THAT Mobil 1 unit is 3/4 of the length of anything I have used on it before.......I'm wondering why??

 

Size doesnt equal filter media.
I only use the Motorcraft filter, but the Mobil wont hurt anything. Just extra money you dont need to spend.
