Electrical problem.......HELP
2001 Expo, Radio, front wipers, and rear wipers died yesterday, drivers side window goes down 1/2" & back up (all others work fine).
Checked fuse for wipers, OK.
Manual says these are all on seperate fuses anyway.
Any ideas?????

Was it raining or had just rained?
If so, check for a windshield leak into the GEM module. All of those features (and more) are controlled from that module.

Generic Electronics Module. It has a problem when it is wet. Makes crazy (like full moon, Friday the 13th) things happen.

Found problem
Blown fuse for radio caused all these problems !!!!!!
All due to the GEM.
Although these are all on different fuses, the GEM controls (checks) everything, if it does not get info from everything, it gets AFU.
Lesson: always check EVERY fuse, not just suspected ones.
Gotta love modern electronics!!!
