Hello, I have a 1997 E- 250 work van V8 triton, the other day it started to rain and the wipers were working fine then all of a sudden they quit working.
When I turn the wipers on at any speed I can hear the motor going but no movement from the wiper blades, the window washer fluid pump still is working fine.
Where is the fuse and relay located for the wiper motor? also where is the wiper motor located? (first ford)

If the motor is running, no need to find the electrical stuff. Sounds like the linkage came off the motor or the gear in the motor cracked. jim
The motor is on the drivers side under the plastic cowl/ grill deal that covers it...You need to remove the wiper arms and then one or both plastic cowl / grill covers , then you can see the motor...there is a clip on the end that attaches the linkage, it could be off ...other than that it is what Jim stated above....
the linkage was off under the motor, I got a oem replacement clip having trouble putting it on on account of there is no room to work, can barley get my arm under. I can put the linkage on the tit under the motor but that's it
You might want to try cycling the motor to another position where there might be more room. This can usually achieved by turning the motor on and shutting it off with the key switch.
I pulled the motor, the old clip was still on the linkage, I guess it was worn out. I replaced it with the new clip and that fixed it. thanks for everyone's help
