Trans Sensor
Where is the proper placement of the transmission sensor suppose to be??? I installed mine in the cooler line just before the cooler. How accurate is this? Should it be in the pan instead???

usually they will supply you with a proper fitting to fit in the hole. it is located in the top left corner (above the pan lip, but right next to it) closest to the driver's location. it is riht above the little plastic box hanging off the side of the transmission. at least that is where mine and alot of other people's are.

I think the pan is the optimal placement for it, but not everyone has the ability to get a bung welded into the pan. The place where strokin mentioned is most convenient. I have my trans temp sensor there too. In stock form, there's a small plug in that hole.
