This may be a stupid question but where do i get a cross over line i would like to get on for my truck. Are they hard to install, well let me know thanks.
I agree. The hard SS HPX line that KCM makes is the way to go. ITP Diesel also sells the KCM line on their site.
Why do you say not to remove the air hose? It takes me all of maybe 5 minutes to get it off and back on again.
On my 02 the air hose is in two sections, with a fitting in the middle which contains the CCV outlet. The section from that fitting to the air filter is easy. The section from the fitting to the turbo is the one interfering with reaching the rail plug. It is short and stiff and I couldn't work it off. The CCV fitting has a short right angle piece of 5/8 or so hose which is clamped to the CCV box with those sqeezem tight clamps which have to be cut off and later replaced with adjustables. That whole mess seemed like too much trouble. I found I could reach past under the air hose with a 10 inch combination 5/8 inch and turn the plug and fittings with patience.
Oh; on edit I see you made the CCV Mod, so maybe that middle fitting is gone and replaced with a piece of pipe?

Yes, just a piece of pipe with the CCV Mod. I can see how it might be more of a pain with your CCV still going into the intake. Here's what I've got. Unclamp it from the turbo, and the whole thing, filter and all, just lifts right out.
Not trying to hijack the thread. Back to the topic of the HPX lines.
