fixed! what was happening was the vacuum line was collapsed in on itself so it would pull air in causing a leak and then when the computer would correct the irregular idle with the IACV activating it would push the vacuum line shut and seal itself causing a smooth.....rough....smooth.....idle. we fixed it with some "red" oil proof 5/8" heater hose and it fit nice'n snug. our van has 127,000 on it so if your van is close and it starts to do the above...check that vacuum line first. just pull the intake plenum tubes off all the way back to the butterflys and right below them on the outside is that 5/8" port pointing towards the front of the van. hope this helps!
