I have a '95 F250 and I'm going to tap into the turbo "Y" pipe for my boost gauge. Does it matter and will it affect the readings if I drill and tap into the side of the "Y" pipe or the front of the "Y" pipe.
Someone told me that if you tapped into the side of the "Y" pipe the readings would be off (on the low side) due to the air going past the fitting and not at the fitting as it would be if tapped into the front.
Thanks for your help, this is a great site, and may everyone have a GREAT NEW YEAR
