Actually, no. I'm being serious. See my gallery. It really made it home on 3 cylinders, with no coolant or lubrication after it all left in the exhaust.
WOW! All that and you aren't bitter like alot of others with less problems? Good for you (I think).
Mwachel, Mwachel, Mwachel...you don't understand. Most of PSD 60L Fx4's 6.0 pain is truly self-induced. And in most cases happily so.
Matt experiments with the 6.0 much like Dr. Frankenstein would...difference is Matt knows more about what he is doing. If his monster gets away from him it is because he is pushing it to do so.
I am surprised only by the fact that it was 5 melted pistons. I expect better from Matt. All 8 would have been the expectation.

well the first time it went bad it would run about 60 mph then got worse to where it would shut down after the oil got hot but this time i just shut it off and it cranks over and over never hits a lick the reciept said it was a reman. just never expected it not to start any more advice you could give me would be great as now there is no warranty on the truck.
20,000 miles on my 2005 and never stranded. Although, I am starting to have a crappy outlook on it. 3 oil leaks, hydro boost, auto ac control unit died, power windows died, leather on seat replaced, stereo electrical problems.
All of it in the last 9,000 miles. I love my truck but it needs to stop going to the shop or my outlook might change.
Damn, are you running that truck through a mine field?
As for my ride, 17 K, and she has only been to the dealer for scheduled maintenance and to have the "F-250" badges replaced. NEVER left me stranded, tows like there is nothing behind the truck, and runs like a raped ape!
5300 miles, left my father stranded on the side of the road. blown engine
13300 miles, same symptoms, but could limp it to the dealer. another engine.
the other 20-25 visits to the shop (not exaggerating either), we could take the truck in. just this past week, it received the third new turbo on the third engine. has less than 23000 miles now. i was driving it that day and by my prior knowledge, the vanes were sticking. took it in, and a new turbo was in less than 4 hours later. the service guys really wake up when they see me or my dad stroll in. because every time we go there, it means bad news.
oh well, we just bought another 6.oh, a 2006 f-250.

Were all those problems with the Edge Juice installed?

It's clearly YOUR fault, if you haven't issued a claim according to the Lemon Law in your state. Either the dealer, or Ford is getting JUNK engines to put in your truck. This should be investigated to the fullest extent of the law...

no, that truck is BONE STOCK. always was, always has. the truck in my signature/main gallery is the one thats modified, and that is my 2002 7.3. MY personal truck..
4S FED, the lemon law applies after the third incident of the same nature and result. in this case, almost everything possible has happened twice. by saying "third engine/third turbo" i mean that the original engine was replaced with a second engine, and the second was replaced with a third. now when the next engine or turbo goes, the truck is going to be sitting in the showroom, regardless if the dealer is open OR NOT.

I would have drove it through the Dealer's window a LONG time ago!!!
