My truck was missing the windshield washer bottle and pump so I ordered replacements from lmc and I got it all hooked up but there it seems like the pump does not have enough power to get the water to the windshield. I get water to spray on the windshield on one side but it is to low on the glass and the other side won't even make it to the glass. I took the weaker side nozzle off and blew it out but no change. would the type of hose I ran from the bottle to the plastic tee matter? I used the smallest hose I had that would fit the tee and I used the original lines from the tee to the nozzles.
Take a small pin or needle and clean out the nozzles. After you have poked the pin through the nozzle outlet, blow compressed air through the outlet. Once you get the debris out of the nozzles, they should work fine. This is a very common problem.
I went to the salvage today per dennis and got a nozzle off a lincoln and I also took one off a full size bronco that had a single nozzle that looks like it may be easier to hook up. I also noticed that the pump on the newer stuff looks exactly like mine and that I could have saved some money by getting everything I needed from there. Also Wintremute I got my tee from lmc along with the other junk. I did not have time to try the other nozzles as I was looking into a 428 a guy said he had but it turned out to be a 410.
