injector cleaning maintenance

How often should injector cleaner be added to the fuel tank on 4 cylinder engines so as to not have to worry about the possibilty of using too much treatment that may damage gaskets , seals etc. 5000 miles ? 10K , 25K ?

I usually just add a bottle at every oil change. Works good for me.

the only thing worthwhile is techron. use it as often as 1,000 miles says the bottle. but i use a entire bottle every oil change which is about 5k. stuff runs 6.00 each or 2 for 6 on sale.
