Depends who is buying.

Someone who buys up IPs, rebuilds, ect.... they're worth cores.

people should know there is no difference in output between turbo and n/a pumps.

There are only 6.9 pumps and 7.3 pumps.

^^ lol is there even a difference between the 7.3 and 6.9 pump?

And Quintin, contact me on FB or msn, I think i'm gonna need that pump, the pump on my van is severely worn now, to the point I can't even shut the engine off at all anymore once warmed up, even if I pour water on the pump, she won't re-start.

the head and rotor sets are different. some 6.9 pumps have different housings. When doing a mild performance build the 7.3 pump is better.

the only difference between an N/A 7.3 pump and turbo 7.3 pump is the torque screw, which is absolutely worthless, and the advance piston is a little different. Output capability is the same.

92-94 7.3l n/a ip's also have the torque screw.

all of these, turbo or not, have the screw:

DB2831-5070 05070 1816350C91 7.3 Liter 1993-94 Ford F Truck - (Turbo) Man Trans. (190 HP)

funny, first time i noticed the chart error.it should be reading 1992-94 1/2 instead of 1992-1/2 for the n/a ips.

you yourself told me the turbo pumps have bigger plungers, and also are able to deliver slightly more fuel.

Regardless, aune does the pump have the external fuel curve screw? aka torque screw.. i know youre not super far from me so shipping shouldnt be to bad, PM if you come up with a price.

The 7.3 pumps are supposedly all .31" plunger pumps, Turbo or not...

The 6.9 pumps are supposedly all .29" plunger pumps...

This would make sense on why my IFS N/A 7.3 pump performs on par with my old Turbo Cal... Though the Turbo Cal does have a slightly different timing curve, I could feel the difference, little more *** in the mid-range.

However, I do have a pump that looks (Or looked, Its torn down now) completely stock, right down to the tie-wired gov rod and stanadyne tag, in a plugged Torque screw housing, that is a DB2829-4746, and confirmed .29" Pump... Came off of a dead stock looking 7.3. Not saying its the rule, but its definately an exception...

Well its all good information to know, either way. Unless your looking to do a nuts turbo build like NMB2 or you RacinNDrummin, .02" plunger differences are not going to make a massive difference. They both will work, I have seen it. Jayme Duty has the pump off my dad's 86 6.9l
