straight pipes
i have a 302 in in my 81 f150 and ive heard straight pipes will mess up stuff is this true?? also i have straight pipes except for my two cherry bomb mufflers and it is loud but i was wondering if i put shorty headers on will it be louder??and how much louder would it be if i took my mufflers off?? thanks

What mufflers? CB turbos or glasspacks? If you have the turbo mufflers it will be alot louder, if glasspack probly a bit depending on the length of glasspacks you have. Straight pipes won't hurt stuff but with somthing like open headers you might run the risk then.
