position of ebpv???

Hey guys,if I unplug my ebpv does it stay in the open position?thanks

yeah it will as long as you unplug it when its open.

Unless it's stuck closed it should open immediately no matter where it is when you unplug it.

If it was stuck closed I would have no power at all correct?I'm not sure how much of an opening there is when it is closed that's why I'm asking this stupid question?Thanks.

When it's completely closed there is almost no opening. It would be completely gutless.

Were do we disconnect the ebpv at?

Ive seen the connection on the '99 models but of course ours is differnt!

Tazz,
Two wire connector,driver's side of turbo,down low.And while I'm typing-saw your other post-yea I'd say it sounds like it's closing on ya.You must be running stock exhaust, w/open pipe it's REALLY loud when closed.

Thanks! It used to make a really loud a noise until it was warmed up, I disconnected a sensor that plugged into the stock air filter box and the noise went away. I'm not sure now what that sensor was..... I have lost it since I removed it!

That was your IAT sensor-Intake air temp-that's one of the sensors the PCM looks at to see if it needs to close the EBPV.
