Difference between chips and tuners
I know this is probably an ignorant question, but what is the actual difference between a tuner and a chip. I know a chip is custom made or "burned" and a tuner "reprograms" the PCM, but I see chips like the TS that offer different 'settings' and can be "flipped". So how are chips and tuners different?
A follow up question (without getting into brands, favorites, etc - keep it generic and objective): What are the pros and cons of each?
