Remove Rear Slidder & Install Solid ?? HELP

I have a leaky-cracked-warped rear slidder and just found a nice solid one to install.

Do i have to use that rear trim around the window that there now when i install the solid one? Want to be prepaired when i do this and may need a new piece.

If So, are they expensive to replace. That big piece is faded and all scratched up.

Thanks for the help

They can be painted, I painted mine w/ Krylon Fusion over a yr ago and it's holding up good. If you do want to replace it, the trim piece is cab specific. Regular cab will not fit supercab, etc.
