Help with Installing electronic rear view mirror
I used to have a car with a rearview mirror that showed the temperature, had a compass and a dimmer and I loved it.. Well my 2001 F-250 regular cab doesn't have an electronic rearview mirror.. So, I yanked one out of a 99 Lincoln Continental today I hopes that I could install it in my truck.
There in lies the problem.. Is it even possible to do this?? Lol
There are 6 wires coming out of the back of this mirror I got: 2 wires that are either pink/black or red/black, one that is green/red, a green/white wire, a solid purple wire and finally a solid black wire..
If you can help me with this I will consider you to be DA MAN (or woman
)

)two go to temp sensor green/red, green/white
and two go to compass sender.. usually right at mirror..
in installed one of these in my 06 F150..

Hey Sam thanks alot Bud, for answerin but I could use a little more guidance if you can..
I don't know if you caught this but my truck currently doesn't have an electronic mirror. Just a plain Jane ol regular mirror is what I've got now. So where are the wires that I'm going to be connecting the mirror to and honestly I seriously doubt my truck has a compass sender, but who knows, I've been proven wrong on this forum before..
