Rear brakes
99 f-250 with disc brakes on the rear and it seems to me that the caliper pin on the bottom is stuck the one on the top slides in and out and will spin the one on bottom is stuck is this normal?

normal no .... common yes very common. the rubber boot is either ripped or just didn't keep the junk out and so the pin seizes in there. fronts also have this problem. you will need to take the brakes apart and get the pad anchor (the piece the pin is in) out and you may be able to soak it in wd-40 or other penatrating oil then wiggle it out but at work i usually have to heat it with a torch. but be careful as in the sheet metal 12 foot ceiling of our shop there is a hole right above the vise where we heated the anchor and the pin shot out like a bullet and made a hole in the ceiling.
so anyway you will need to get new rubber boot from the parts store. and hope it will come out. it will but it may take some work.
