It will not run
Hello!
This is my first time here!
I just bought a Ford Supper Duty Custom Flatbed truck from King County auction. Engine is a heavy-duty engine for vehicle weight rating of greater than 14,000 LBS .
It started up, ran great all the way home and has lots of power. At home I started it again to worm it up. I changed oil filter and filled to full mark. Changed air & pcv filter. Started Engine ran good. Oil gauge has a low & high Pressure indicator and it shows in mid range. I started it again to worm it up. I then check oil level. It was low by one pint. I filled it up!
I found out I didn’t have head light switch. I bought a new one and installed it. I have running light, turn signals. But no head light high or low beam. I checked all fuses and all show good!
I was going to use the truck. Tried to start it up and it just turned over would not start!
I found out I have spark only when key is in run position. Not on start!
I bought a new control module and installed it. Now I have spark on both run and start position. But it would not run it just turned over no fire or backfire.
I bought a Ford Haynes Repair Manual No 36058 for F350 and did some checks and found its fuel pumps not running. Fuel tanks are full. I check filter OK! I check the fuel pump by removing the inertia switch connector and putting 12 volts to red wire on connector then the pump runs.
Tried to start the truck but it would not run!!!!
Can anybody HELP!!!!!!
